Students in Kindergarten through grade 10 have specific learning expectations, based on Washington’s standards for teaching and learning. These one-page handouts “Your Child’s Progress” broadly cover these grade level expectations. The handout also covers basic information on state testing for grades 3 through 10. Click on the links below to access and download the handouts. “Your Child’s Progress” replaces the “Reaching Higher” publication.

  • WASL Help- Suggestions to parents to help their students become proficient in the areas tested by the WASL

  • WASL Mathematics Review* - 2001 WASL Review and Preparation web site created by staff at Kentridge High School
  • Skills Tutor**- Anacortes School District is offering an independent tutoring program for students in grades 7 through 11 to help them improve their reading, writing, and mathematic skills. The focus of this program is to help students improve their basic skills and to prepare for the 10th grade WASL graduation requirement.
